FIND THE GOOD SIDE
You cannot have the success without the failures.
Any experience can be transformed into something of value.
Everything depends on the way you look at things.
In all of your adversities lies the seeds of equivalent advantages.
In every defeat there is a lesson showing you how to win the next time.
What are stumbling blocks and defeat before you
can be stepping stones to victory if you remain determined.
View your problems as opportunities.
When it's dark enough you can see the stars.
__The Daily Guru

From the Big Book:
"We told him what we knew about alcoholism, He was interested and conceded that he had some of the symptoms, but he was a long way from admitting that he could do nothing about it himself."
c. 1939, AAWS, Alcoholics Anonymous, More About Alcoholism, pp,39-40.

Prayer for the day:
"I pray that my feet may be set upon a rock.
I pray that I may rely on God to guide my comings and goings."
c. 1975, Hazelden Foundation, Twenty-Four Hours A Day, May 19.

Quote for the day:
"Today I have grown taller by walking with the trees."
__Karle Wilson Baker

My share:
I am the tree that grows crooked; clinging to craggy rocks, my emotions are gnarled roots, exposed by harsh winds and lashing seas of many tempests. Despite the storms that have come my way, even those that shaped my form so many years ago,  I am warmed and healed still by the daily light of truth and continue to grow stronger with every trail of the sun.  My roots stretch deeper into the rock.  I am taller for walking with you.  Be Good To You, Dave
